Help / Watchlist and account

Watchlist and account

Baker+ is free and you can watch without an account. A free account adds a bigger watchlist that follows you from device to device.

The watchlist

The watchlist is your personal list of titles to watch later.

  1. Open a content page and press the round + button. It turns into a check mark.
  2. Press it again to remove the title.
  3. Open "Watchlist" in the navigation to see your list, most recently added first.

When you try to add a fourth title without an account, a message appears: "Your watchlist is full. Create a free account to save more titles." with links to sign up or log in.

Your titles are not lost when you create an account or log in: the list you built before is carried over automatically. If you used another device before, both lists are merged. Without an account the list is tied to your browser; if you clear your browser data or switch devices, an anonymous list does not come along.

Creating an account

  1. Open /signup. The page is headed "Create your free account".
  2. Enter your email address, a password and the password again, then press "Sign Up".
  3. A page says "Check your inbox". Open the email from Baker+ and click "Click here" to verify your email address.
  4. A page confirms "Your email address has been verified. You can now sign in."
  5. Sign in at /login.

You cannot sign in before the address is verified. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then open /login/verify, enter your address and press "Send verification email" to get a new one.

Signing in

  1. At /login enter your email and password and press "Log In". You end up on the home page.
  2. If your account uses two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app when asked.
  3. Too many wrong passwords in a short time lock the login for a few minutes ("Too many login attempts. Please try again later."). A wrong email or password shows "Email or password is incorrect."

Forgot your password?

  1. Press "Forgot password?" on the login page.
  2. Enter your email address and press "Send reset link".
  3. Open the email and click "Click here" to choose a new password. The link is valid for about an hour.
  4. Enter the new password twice and press "Save new password", then sign in.

Watch history and continue watching

"History" in the navigation lists everything you have played, most recently watched first. Under each thumbnail you see when you watched it, how often (for example "Watched 3 times, last 10/25/2026") and, for a series, which episode you played last.

Baker+ remembers where you stopped. When you leave a film or an episode before the end, the history shows "Continue at 15:00" with a progress bar, and the "Play" button on the content page turns into "Continue" (for a series "Continue S1E2"). Pressing it opens the player at that point. A video you watched to the end, or almost to the end, starts over the next time. Trailers are not remembered.

The position is saved once a minute while you watch and when you leave the page. Like the watchlist, the history belongs to your browser until you log in or sign up: it then moves into your account and is available on every device you log in on.

Your account page

Once you are logged in, "Sign In" in the navigation becomes "Account" (/account). The page shows your email and "Member since" date, shortcuts to your Watchlist and Watch history, "Log out" and "Back to Baker+", and these blocks:

  • Password: press "Change", enter the current password and a new one twice. All your logins end afterwards.
  • Two factor: press "Set up", scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or type the key by hand) and enter the code to confirm. Until you confirm, two factor stays off. After that every login asks for a code.
  • Sessions: see where you are logged in, rename a session, end one with "Revoke", or use "Log out everywhere" (this ends the current login too).

Tip: add titles to your watchlist before you create an account; they and your watch history come with you.
