So you want your machinima on Baker+? Check that your production qualifies, then request distribution. Applications can be sent when your production is near completion.
Your production needs to meet these requirements
- Full HD (1920×1080) or higher, at least 24 fps.
- Mostly shot cinematically. First person POV is fine if it fits the story and has no HUD overlays.
- A clear, scripted storyline. Roleplay without a scripted story is decided case by case. Let's Plays are not accepted.
- Completed movies or series only. Series can release all at once or on a schedule.
- Voice acting in some form. Productions without it are decided case by case.
- Standalone titles run at least five minutes.
- The rights holder is at least 18 years old.
- Productions are shown on Baker+ only on their official release date.

How to get your machinima on Baker+
- Check your production. Make sure it meets every requirement and has no errors such as plot holes, spelling mistakes or a wrong format. Fixing problems after release is only possible to a degree and can cost you views and ratings.
- Request distribution. Send us your request with the form. We recommend screening your production to a small audience first.
- We reply by email. A Baker+ representative tells you whether we consider your production. If it failed on something quickly fixable, like resolution or format, you can submit it again.
- Onboarding and delivery. If we move forward, your representative answers your questions and onboards you on our Creator platform, where you deliver your title.
- Release and statistics. Once released, Baker+ provides statistics, ratings and more for your title.

How can I get my production on Baker+?
We welcome all machinima creators. Send us a distribution request with the form on this page, or reach out on our Discord.
Which genres or types of machinima do you distribute?
Any genre, as long as it meets our submission requirements and a certain level of quality and professionalism. The most popular games on Baker+ are Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V and, when it releases, Hytale.
What materials do I need to provide?
Anything that helps feature and promote your production: a press kit, trailers, teasers and clips, the movie or episodes, an outline, synopsis and short description, production credits, and anything else you find helpful.
What is a press kit?
A collection of promotional material: movie or character posters, thumbnails, production stills, behind the scenes content, trailers and clips. Baker+ receives permission to use these materials independently for promotion across all platforms.
Are there quality requirements?
Yes. We know some games can only do so much, but every production has to meet the requirements listed above to be considered.
Can I submit an episode before the series is complete?
No, we only distribute completed shows, so viewers never face an unknown wait between episodes. You can release episodes on a schedule, such as one per week, or all at once. Apply near the end of post production so negotiations finish in time for your release date.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. After acceptance you receive a Distribution Agreement based on the terms negotiated beforehand. Creators must be 18 or have a legal guardian who can sign for them.
Does my production need to be in English?
No, but English helps. If the spoken language is not English, you must provide English subtitles for all episodes, movies, trailers and clips.
Where can I find Baker+ logos? Can I call my show a Baker+ Original?
You may use Baker+ logos on promotional art, for example "Streaming now on Baker+". A production must not be called a Baker+ Original unless it is one. Originals are created by Baker+ with film teams, and start with a pitch to our executives that is accepted. Distribution alone does not make a show an Original.
Can I use copyrighted music?
You are responsible for owning the licenses to the music and content you use. Because we embed your YouTube video, strikes, takedowns, lawsuits or demonetization go directly to your channel. Your machinima stays eligible, but it is not protected from those risks.
